The Conroe Fire Department and Santa

Santa got rescued by a team of courageous Conroe, Texas firemen-

It all started out innocently, and then the situation began to twist and bend.

He was going on a 80 foot climb, and everything was going well-

At least from what everyone on the ground, who was watching, could tell.

And then suddenly at 50 feet, his beard got caught-

And then frantically, much needed help, is what he sought.

A bystander threw up a knife, for him to cut-

That much tangled up beard, that put him in such a rut.

But, alas, that did not work, as the cutted pieces began to fly-

Santa, had no idea, why this happened, he just didn't know why.

Thank goodness, for the Conroe firemen, who came to his aid-

With the help of a ladder, the recovery was successfully made.

Twas the night before Christmas, and all through the Conroe Firehouse-

Not a creature was stirring, as Santa entered as quietly as a mouse.

He filled all the stockings until they were overflowing-

And graciously left a note to all saying, "Thanks guys, good going!"

He spread the story of those fine Conroe Firemen all over the world-

Even through the Fox News Channel, the news continued to be unfurled.

The world owes their gratitude, to those brave Conroe Firemen,

who saved Santa from an awful fate-

And to all A Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year, for the year of 2008.
