1. He was in the Air Force, as a tail gunner on B-17 bombers.
2. He worked with Red Adair, at the time John Wayne's movie,
"Hellfighters," was filmed depicting their escapades.
3. Both he and Boots Hansen, formed their own oil well
fighting company, named "Boots & Coots."
