Three Rewards For Participating In The Bluebonnet Reading Program At Peach Creek Elementary In Splendora
Three rewards for participating in the Bluebonnet Reading Program at Peach Creek Elementary in Splendora:
1. Expansion of reading skills.
2. Receiving a voting card, after reading 5 books, which includes writing a summary, performing Reader's Theatre scripts, and creating posters, that are based on the books
read.
3. Actually getting to vote, while receiving an "I voted" sticker and a snack.

Peach Creek Elementary Reader's Theatre students were recognized, by the Splendora Independent School District board, in East Montgomery County-
Incuding Javier Rodriguez, Stephanie Alverado, Frankie York, Kaitlyn Baker, Brianne Morrow, Camille Poffinbarger, Brandon Napper, and Lindsey Alvey.

Three occasions that a turkey may come in handy:
1. At a petting zoo.
2. During Thanksgiving.
3. To compliment 217 cases of stolen stuffing.

3. The baseball player cheats to increase play.

Three Presidents to focus on today:
1. George Washington. (our first one)
2. Abraham Lincoln. ( our sixteenth one)
3. Any of the other 41 of them.

George Washington and Abraham Lincoln are most
thought of on President's Day-
But in actuality, there are 43 of them altogether,
that we could reflect on today.

Three reasons that there is a recall for 143 million pounds of beef:
1. The meat may be unsafe.
2. Sick animals were in the mix.
3. Greed.

Wonder how the meat was that we ate yesterday?
From the folks who are interested in only a hefty payday?

Three things that one can take from Houston's trash:
1. Old pieces of furniture.
2. Used toys.
3. The garbage can itself.
